HUGH Jackman has revealed what he loves about Glasgow... and it's the people, of course.

The Aussie A-lister is in the city for his three-night The Greatest Showman performance at The Hydro.

And last night he celebrated in style with an after party.

Asked what the best thing was about Glasgow he exclusively told the Evening Times: “The people.”

The Wolverine star who wowed with big show stoppers and smooched with a member of public during his stage show has spared no expense treating his entourage while they have been in the city.

On Saturday night after he put out a video of him passing by the Hydro venue he also decided to throw a welcoming party for his dancers, singers and roadies at the Blythswood hotel where is staying in a £2500 a night penthouse.

Hugh wanted to treat them after an intensive six weeks of rehearsals in London and New York and spent tens of thousands of pounds at the new Bo and Birdy restaurant venue which opens to the public later this week.

The lavish bar and brasserie restaurant has just had a million pound makeover and Hugh and his fifty plus entourage got exclusive use of the facilities before anyone.

Hugh also gifted each guest with a black and white hoodie promoting his own ethical coffee brand Laughing Man.

The X Men Wolverine, Les Miserables and Greatest Showman heartthrob was chuffed to bits after the first night of his The Man. The Music. The Show extravaganza.

To reward his hardworking entourage of 70 cast and crew, including Greatest Showman Bearded Lady Keala Settle who surprised concert goers with a rendition of hit This Is Me, he decided to splash the cash on a huge after show party at neighbouring hotel The Crowne Plaza.
