A JOKESTER fooled Twittersphere at the weekend after sharing what looked like legitimate tweets from Kim Kardashian West - saying she named her new baby son Pollokshaws West.

The reality TV star and husband Kanye West welcomed their fourth child, a son, via surrogate on Friday.

Kardashian West shared the news on Twitter, writing: “He’s here and he’s perfect!”

However, a cheeky Weegie duped many into thinking the American media personality named her child after a South Side train station.

User Stephen Watson shared screenshots of posts that looked to be from Kardashian West’s account.

Glasgow Times:

The tweet read: “One of the names that we kept seeing in our suggestions was Pollokshaws (apparently Scottish?) and we just fell in love with the way it sounds. So excited for you guys to meet Pollokshaws West.”

Sharing the images, he proclaimed: “Kim Kardashian’s new baby name announced.”

His tweet has, so far, been shared around 12,000 times, with many questioning whether it was real or not.

Sadly, as much as we would love Kim K West herself to name her wean after a Glasgow train station, it’s not true - but it still gave us a right good laugh.

The name of the child has not been revealed.
