A CYCLIST was taken to hospital after he fell off his bike on the Erskine Bridge.
Police were called to the bridge, which connects Renfrewshire and West Dunbartonshire, at around 1.45pm on Wednesday, following reports a man had suffered a fall on the pedestrian foot bridge.
He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital but his condition is unknown.

A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “At 1.45pm police were called report of a man being injured after falling from a bike on the pedestrian footpath on the Erskine Bridge.
“Emergency services attended and the man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.”
