A MAN has been hit by a car on a major east end road.
London Road has been shut between Carmyle Avenue and Westhorn Drive as emergency services raced to the scene.

The collision occurred around 10.50am this morning and the man's condition is not yet known.
However, Glasgow City Council's traffic team have described the incident as "serious" and warned road users to avoid the area.

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "We received a report of a man being struck by a vehicle around 10.50am.
"Emergency services are in attendance and a section of the road has been closed."
