GLASGOW is set for a bright and sunny day, with warm temperatures in store.
The Met Office has forecast a few showers will develop, perhaps heavy and slow moving.
The showers are most likely through Lanarkshire, with the best of the sunshine around the coast and over the islands. The maximum temperature will be a hot 19°C.

Tonight, any showers will die away with a fine end to the day. The cloud will become well broken, with clear skies at times overnight. A minimum temperature of around 6°C is to be expected.

Tuesday will be mainly dry with the best of the brightness through Argyll and around the west coast. It will feel cool at times in the brisk northeast winds. The maximum temperature will be 17°C.
