AN URGENT search has been launched after a man was spotted falling into the River Clyde in Glasgow.
Emergency services are hunting the area following the incident, which occurred on Monday afternoon.
Police remain at the scene, at the river's cross with Dalmarnock Road in the East End, in an attempt to locate the man.

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland confirmed they remained in the area.
She added: "About 1.25pm police were called to the report of a man having fallen in the river at Dalmarnock Road.
"Emergency services are currently searching the area."
