A BODY has been found in the search for missing Drumchapel man Stephen McPhail.
The Evening Times previously reported how Police Scotland had been appealing for information from the public after highlighting the 43-year-old’s disappearance on Monday, June 17.
The force had said the last sighting of Stephen, also known as Stef, was at around 9.25am on Saturday, June 15, when he was seen walking towards Dumbarton on the A82 Great Western Road near Auchentoshan Distillery.

The body was discovered at Loch Humphrey, in the Kilpartick Hills, West Dunbartonshire, on Tuesday at around 2.35pm.
A formal identification has still to take place, however, police officers believe the man to be Stephen.
Stephen’s family has been informed and a report will be prepared for the Procurator Fiscal.
There are no suspicious circumstances around the death.
