It's a song instantly recognisable to Celtic fans across the world - and now Paolo Nutini has put his distinctive vocals over You'll Never Walk Alone.

The Celtic-supporting singer belted out The Gerry and the Pacemakers classic in the Glasgow bar Saint Vincent's at the weekend - and the bar shared a clip of his performance this morning.

With a Hoops scarf around his neck, the 32-year-old treated fans to an impromptu performance of the Hoops anthem.

It is understood that the Candy star was at a stag do in the city centre boozer. He, however, has taken to bars across the city and in his hometown of Paisley for similar performances over the years.

The Irish themed bar also shared clips of him singing his hit song Candy and The Righteous Brothers' Unchained Melody.

You'll Never Walk Alone has been sung by Celtic supporters since 1966. Other football clubs including Liverpool FC sing the anthem at their football ground.

We previously reported how rocker Rod Stewart covered Irish folk song Grace, also sung by Celtic supporters, for his new album.
