Andy Murray is due to make a long-awaited return to Wimbledon on Thursday after missing the tournament last year.

The Scot, making a gradual return to action following hip surgery, will be taking part in the men’s doubles competition.

Murray will join Frenchman Pierre-Hugues Herbert in taking on Romanian Marius Copil and France’s Ugo Humbert.

According to the All England Club’s order of play for Thursday, the location of the match is still “to be arranged”.

Four other Britons will also be making bids to progress further in the singles competitions.
