Gerry Cinnamon has announced two headline dates in Scotland after huge demand for more hometown gigs.

The Castlemilk man was forced to defend himself after his rabid fanbase called for more shows in the city after he announced a string of lined up performances - without a Glasgow show in sight.

Cinnamon, 33, told fans they had "lost it" if they didn't think he'd soon play in Glasgow and his latest output confirmed two December gigs for lucky punters to get excited about.

Posting on social media, Gerry wrote: "Happening Scotland, new tour dates announced.

"Also a wee gig on the green tonight - 7.30pm cheers x".

His Glasgow outing is scheduled for December 20 at the SSE Hydro while he'll play Aberdeen's P&J Live on November 23.

Coral have also been confirmed as special guests.

The surprise announcement comes as he gets ready to kick TRNSMT weekend off in style.

It follows the release of new banger track Canter last month.
