Barras Food Trucks,
Moncur Street,
Today, from noon
THE latest date for the Barras Food Trucks is ... today! Pop down to the Gallowgate area for another excellent day with some of Scotland’s tastiest street food traders. The trucks are right around the corner from TRNSMT festival at Glasgow Green and there will be live music from midday to warm up hungry crowds. Bring your appetite along and enjoy a fantastic selection of Scottish street food vendors, including – for the first time this year – some sweet treat options. It is always a brilliant day, so get down, enjoy a beer and a tasty street food snack. Free to attend.
Open-Air Cinema,
Queen’s Park Arena,
Tonight, 6.30pm
POP along to Queen’s Park for an open-air screening of Joe Johnston’s 1995 classic Jumanji, starring Robin Williams (above), Kirsten Dunst and Bonnie Hunt. When young Alan Parrish discovers a mysterious board game, he doesn’t realise it’s unimaginable powers until he is magically transported, before the startled eyes of his friend Sarah, into the untamed jungles of Jumanji. There he remains for 26 years until he is freed from the game’s spell by two unsuspecting children. Alan reunites with Sarah and tries to outwit the game’s forces. Get tickets at tickettailor.com.
