Lewis Capaldi joked about backstage with Glasgow's top cops ahead of his TRNSMT set.
The singer, who wowed the audiences at the Glasgow Green yesterday, was pictured with former area commander for Glasgow South Craig Smith and Superintendent David Pettigrew who was in charge of the policing operation at TRNSMT.

Wearing his trademark shades and a cop hat, Capaldi had a laugh with the officers backstage before taking to the stage.
It is understood he was showing his support to Police Scotland's Safer Communities Youth Hub initiative.
Superintendent Pettigrew joked that he "swore" Capaldi into the force and sent him on patrol.
Another cop joked, "Nice that he wore his blacks too. Special constable Capaldi."
We reported how the Scottish singer had another go at Noel Gallagher by covering Oasis hit Don't Look Back in Anger. He also entered the TRNSMT stage wearing a Chewbacca mask after Gallagher previously joked that Capaldi looked like the Star Wars character.
His hour-long set was also watched by Trainspotting star Robert Carlyle
