LEGENDARY Glasgow comedian Billy Connolly’s last-ever stand-up gig is to be shown in cinemas for one night only.

“The Sex Life of Bandages” will also see Billy muse upon his career, life and legacy in a deeply personal and never-before-seen interview filmed exclusively for cinema audiences.

Hailed as the UK’s most influential comedian of all time, the 76-year-old will present the show from the Australian leg of his last tour, recorded in 2015.

The whip-smart show was praised as being “beautifully funny” by London press while one title praised the Glaswegian’s ability to “… warm us, cheer us, tickle us…”.

Billy said: “Considering I tend to die in all my Hollywood movies, I’m delighted to appear in cinemas and be alive and well at the end.”

The musician, artist, and actor was knighted for his services to both entertainment and charity in 2017.
