Chewbacca actor Joonas Suotamo has hailed Lewis Capaldi after the crooner donned the wookiee mask during his TRNSMT set as his feud with Noel Gallagher continued.
Suotamo, 32, praised the Scot and told of his admiration for his commitment to the cause.
Taking to Twitter the Finnish actor said: "I admire a man in a Cewbacca mask. Well done @LewisCapaldi Rawrrggh".
And the star's post was liked and shared tens of times by delighted fans.
Capaldi's hilarious appearance as the Star Wars character came amid a spat with Noel Gallagher who called him “Chewbacca” in a Variety interview.
