The heartbroken partner of tragic Rebecca Tollan has thanked his "angel" after her death - vowing to bring up their baby boy to make her proud.
The Motherwell mum, 23, passed away in the early hours of Monday morning and tributes poured in from friends and family earlier today.
Now baby Carter's dad Graeme Robertson has shared his own poignant tribute on social media, explaining how Rebecca's death has "destroyed him".
And he promised to bring up the tot the way Rebecca would want.
The Facebook post read: "To Rebecca..
"Just starting this off is the most heartbreaking experience I have had to come up against, no words have any detail how destroyed we all are, nobody deserves anything like what life has gave us and took from you, nothing will ever be the same without you.
"But I know you’ll always be here, you left me with the most important and precious thing I could ever want and be more grateful for, our son, Carter Tollan Robertson.
"I promise all do every possible thing to make you so proud and build our son to become everything you wanted, please give us all strength to get through this! I could t thank you more for giving me the privilege of becoming a dad to such an amazing baby boy giving me a purpose.
"You will never be not thought of Becky, you had so much more to do, I couldn’t think of a more loving mum than you for such a short period of time you got to be one.. I will bring up our son to be everything he deserves I won’t ever let you down I promise!!!!!
This isn’t goodbye angel, just because we can’t see or hear you anymore doesn’t mean your not with us, me and carter are going to make you so proud!!
"We love you mummy!!!"
Rebecca gave birth to little Carter just over two weeks ago.
We told earlier how cops confirmed they were alerted to the fact that Rebecca had taken ill but she passed away before medical action could take place.
wo men were rushed to Monklands University Hospital as a precaution as they were also in the flat at the time.
But they are not considered to be seriously unwell.
