LITTLE Mix will play three consecutive shows at the Hydro as part of their LM5 tour.

The band is due to play the city venue on October 17, 18 and 19.

The new concert tour kicks off in Liverpool on September 1 and will see the girls, Jesy Nelson, Leigh Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirwall and Perrie Edwards, travel through Europe and the UK.

They will finish off with shows in Australia and New Zealand in December.

In the meantime, we have everything you need to know about their Glasgow shows.

Glasgow Times:

How do I get there?

There are several options for travelling to the Hydro with its central location in Glasgow's Finnieston.

  • If you are travelling by car...

The SSE Hydro is situated just off the M8 motorway. To access the venue, leave the motorway at junction 19 and follow the westbound Clydeside Expressway (A814) until the cut off signposted SEC East. Turn left at traffic lights and take the right lane to access the parking. The postcode for satnav is G3 8YW.

  • You can park at the venue...

The SSE Hydro has parking with onsite pay machines on the ground floor and level two of the car park. Parking from Monday to Sunday remains at the same rate:

For 0-1 hour £5.50

For 1-12 hours £11

For 12-13 hours £16

For 13-24 Hours £22

  • If you are travelling by train...

The SSE Hydro is easily accessible by train. The nearest railway stop, the Exhibition Centre, is a short five to ten-minute walk from the venue. Trains depart about every ten minutes from the Glasgow Central station lower-level Platform 17. A single ticket costs £1.90, and a return ticket costs between £1.70 and £2.30.

If arriving by train at Glasgow Queen Street, it is a five-minute walk to Glasgow Central Station.

  • If you are travelling by bus...

To get to SSE Hydro by bus, take the Riversider 100 service leaving from George Square in Glasgow city centre and goes directly to the SEC. It also stops at the Mariot Hotel on Argyle Street and by the Glasgow Central. A single ticket from George square costs £1.65 and the schedule is available here

Alternatively, the X19 Stagecoach service stops on Finnieston Street only a few minutes’ walk from the venue.

  • Walking to the Hydro...

The Clydeside Walkway runs past the SEC, allowing for a pleasant walk to the venue alongside the river. There are multiple bridges granting access to the SEC from the other side of the Clyde, including two pedestrian bridges, the Bells Bridge by the Science Centre and the Clyde Arc further east.

The nearest subway stop is Cessnock, which is a twenty-minute walk away from the SSE Hydro.

Where can I eat and drink near the Hydro?

Finnieston and the surrounding area is packed with bars and restaurants because of the Hydro. With the Ariana show attracting a younger audience, there is also plenty of family-friendly options nearby.

  • Clydebuilt

Located at the front entrance to the SEC, Clydebuilt is the venue's own restaurant and bar. It offers a great range of food and drink and is ideal if you don't want the stress of worrying about getting the venue on time.

  • Radisson RED hotel Sky Bar

The Sky Bar offers panoramic views of the river Clyde, the Finnieston crane, the Hydro, the Armadillo, along with BBC and STV across the river. There are often DJs spinning tunes at the weekend and a range of signature cocktails on offer. The venue also has a menu.

  • Village Hotel

Across the water, the pub and grill at the Village hotel offer a relaxed dining atmosphere. If you are lucky, sometimes the venue is a bit quieter than those closer to the Hydro.

  • La Rotunda

This restaurant was a popular city eatery long before the Hydro was built. Now it offers dining to suit every taste bud. There is an Italian restaurant, a bar and diner area, a mezze eatery and even a comedy club.

In case you don't fancy these options, there are even more in the list below.

The Hydro always issue a security check warning before the show and sometimes artists can impose their own.

Bags larger than A3 size (30cm x 42cm) are not allowed in the venue.
