Celtic supporters had a mixed reaction on Friday afternoon as the club launched their third kit for this season - with some slaughtering it as the "worst kit ever".

Hoops fans gathered at the Celtic Festival in Glasgow's SEC just before 3pm where four star players - Scott Brown, Odsonne Edouard, Ryan Christie and James Forrest - all modelled the new pink and grey outfit.

But while some fans were content with the jersey, shorts and socks, others blasted the design.

One slammed: "Get that kit to ****. Worst I can remember."

Another added: "Worst kit ever."

One commented: "So Celtic release a f***ing crap kit, the worst I've ever seen and I'm not allowed to criticise or I'm not a Celtic fan."

A fourth moaned: "That new third kit is disgusting."

Others seemed to like the fresh, unique design.

One said: "I think it makes us stand out, which is what we're wanting to do this year in Europe, so it fits!"

Another added: "This is the first time I'm buying a Celtic kit in years."

Fans enjoyed day one of the Celtic Festival yesterday afternoon where legends like Danny McGrain and Jackie McNamara took part in Q&A's and various footie competitions were held.

The Celtic celebration continues this weekend.
