A distraught mother has issued a desperate appeal after her 'vulnerable' son went missing three days ago.

Rhys Bonner was last seen on Garlieston Road, Barlanark on Wednesday, and mum Stephanie raised the alarm yesterday afternoon.

A local claimed to have spotted the 19-year-old on Abercromby Street at around 5pm on Friday with another boy.

She appealed to Glaswegians on social media to keep an eye out for her boy, and says the family 'can't go another minute without knowing he's safe'.

"We want him home safe," she wrote on Facebook. "Someone must know something.

"We are all worried sick - his four siblings are missing him like mad."

When last seen, Stephanie says he was wearing a long-sleeved Celtic t-shirt, blue shorts and white Nike trainers.

Police have confirmed they are in talks with Rhys' family, and enquiries are ongoing.
