LOVE Island star Anton Danyluk has been forced to temporarily close his Airdrie gym to he can focus on his new TV fame.

The hunky Scot, 24, has been shocked by the attention he has received since leaving the villa on the eve of the final.

Glasgow Times:

The Scottish Sun reports that he has been forced to temporarily close the business as fans of the show inundate him with requests.

He said: “I’ve put the gym on hold at the minute because I’m so busy right now.

“There are people just trying to come up and see me, so I need to take some time away and focus on what I’m doing then relaunch it at another point, hopefully later this year.

“I can’t believe how many people have recognised me. I knew it was going to be big because Love Island is such a popular show, but I had no idea it would be this massive.

“I went for a Nandos the other day in Glasgow and I couldn’t eat my food. Everybody was coming up to me every time I tried to sit down - but they were saying such nice things and it’s appreciated.

“It’s hard to get my head around because I’m just a regular guy. I don’t feel famous and find myself speaking to people for ten minutes when they say hi. I’m just that type of guy.

“I’m loving every moment but it’s still so surreal.”

Glasgow Times:

Anton, who previously appeared on Glasgow's answer to The Only Way Is Essex, internet-series Glow, above, said he is looking forward to meeting up with fellow islander and love interest Belle Hassan, 21.

But the beauty won't be getting the girlfriend label yet.

He said: "I made it very clear in the villa that I wasn’t going to make someone my official girlfriend on a TV show because I’m a total realist.

“To go from seeing each other 24 hours-a-day to once or twice a week, it’s a good test.

“We have a date on Saturday that I’m looking forward to and I can’t wait to see where it goes because I’m loving it so far.

“I’m not going to be seeing someone else, I’m only interested in Belle and just want to make sure it will work on the outside before we label it boyfriend and girlfriend.”

The reality star also said he would be respectful of Belle's movie star dad Tamer Hassan.

He said: "I’ve always been respectful of a partner’s parents. Even if Tamer allowed me to sleep in the same bed as Belle, I wouldn’t under his roof. I’ll definitely be sleeping somewhere else.”

We reported yesterday that Anton visited Glasgow's Quay complex where he went to the cinema and had a cheeky Nando's.
