US singer Lauryn Hill has apologised to Glasgow fans after showing up late to a city music festival.
The popular R'n'B star was due to perform an hour and a half set at Playground Festival in Rouken Glen Park on Saturday night - and ended up singing a mere six songs.
She appeared on stage at 10.30pm to perform a mere six songs, 30 minutes before curfew.
And her set was cut short when the sound was stopped by the festival organisers.
The former Fugees star, 44 was billed to perform a set which was expected to run from 9.30pm to 11pm.
On stage, she apologised to the angry crowd for being late and said she was celebrating her son's birthday.
She also told them she would play all night if she could.

Lauryn, however, later said in an official statement: "My sincere apologies to Glasgow for the late show and shorter set. I appreciate the energy and support I did received from the great crowd and the patience of the promoters.
"I hope to come back and make it up to my Glasgow audience.
"It is only with great respect and love for my art and the audience that I take the stage every performance."
