SINGER Lewis Capaldi has met music legend Elton John - and he has even managed to blag some free food.
The Scottish superstar posted a picture with icon Elton on Instagram and joked: "My life is f**king mental. Thank you for the free food."
Elton then returned the favour by sharing a post on his Instagram in which he paid Lewis the ultimate compliment by saying: "Spending the day with the next British superstar."

The pair provided no further details over their meeting, which took place in Nice, France.
Elton,72, will return to Scotland's Hydro next year for his farewell tour.
Scottish star Lewis, 22, has become one of the biggest names in pop this year with smash hit singles Someone You Loved and Hold Me While you Wait storming the charts.
