Paesano have released further details about their plans to turn a Charles Rennie Mackintosh building into a specialised Pasta restaurant, Sugo.
Last night new social media pages were created on Facebook and Instagram, called Sugo Pasta, and wrote that they were hiring Head and Second chefs.
The Paesano group:
"Sugo will specialise in fresh pasta made by hand every day in our kitchen.
"Our pasta dishes will be served as they are traditionally throughout the varying regions of Italy, from Lazio, Tuscany, Sicily, Puglia, Abbruzzo, Campania, Piedmont and Lombardy.
"The emphasis will be on the authenticity of the dishes served and the provenance and quality of the produce used.
"Each pasta will be paired with the sauce or ingredients as traditionally served in each region.
"The restaurant will be a large, bustling open space with diners being able to watch our chefs produce the fresh pasta as they dine and see their dishes being cooked in our open plan."
Sugo will be launching in the Charles Rennie Mackintosh Herald Building on Mitchell Street at Mitchell Lane.
