Glasgow City Council have unveiled the long list of roads which will be hit by closures this weekend. 

George Square is set to be the scene as the first stage of the 2019 OVO Energy Tour of Britain cycling event kicks off in Glasgow. 

Competitors will start in the city on Saturday before making their way through Ayrshire and ending up in Dumfries and Galloway. 

A charity event run by Pedal for Scotland will also take place in Glasgow on Sunday.
