AN operation has been launched by emergency services in Glasgow's West End after a body was spotted in the river.
Police Scotland, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and the Scottish Ambulance Service are all at the scene on Great Western Road close to Kelvinbridge Subway.
Police Scotland confirmed that they received a report of a body in the River Kelvin at around 1.20pm.

A search operation is now underway.
Firefighters have launched their rescue boat and have been searching the water.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue spokesman said: “We are there supporting police colleagues.”
