EMOTIONAL messages have been posted on social media after the death of a young Glasgow man, named locally as Connor Luke. 

A video circulating on social media reportedly shows Connor taking unwell on Monday evening with friends. 

Tragically, reports online now claim that the teenager has died, with his mother taking to Facebook to share the news. 

Carol O'Reilly posted the horrific update on her social media profile, in which she says she will miss her son "so much".

She said: "I became your mum at 18 then a knew what love was. A was so proud of that day u were my boy am going to miss u so much.

"Can’t believe your gone my hearts broken a love u more than life it self sleep tight my boy."

Other family members are also distraught at learning the terrible news.

Connor's aunt Donna wrote online: "Can’t believe I am writing this today I got the worse phone call of my life that sadly me beautiful wee nephew has passed away. 

"I am totally heartbroken he was more than just a nephew to me he was the nicest harmless wee boy anyone could meet amazing with my kids. 

"I am going to be lost without you and I will miss everything about u I am not sure how to cope without u or if I can but I need to be strong for your 2 cousins Connor.

"I love u so so much fly high my beautiful nephew."

Friends of the teen, who is said to have attended Knightswood Secondary, have shared their own heartbreak. 

Kelsey Oliver said: "Can’t believe it man , rest easy Connor you’ll be missed ma boy gutted. 

"Another young life gone n many hearts broken by it."

Stephanie Kennedy added: "Gutted isn’t the word. Rest easy Connor."
