A MAN is expected to appear in court over the alleged attempted kidnapping of a toddler in Clydebank.
The incident is said to have taken place on Saturday, September 14 at Clyde Shopping Centre.
The toddler, who is one and a half-years-old, was allegedly grabbed by an unknown man, aged 47, who allegedly walked away before the father of the child intervened.
He is expected to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court tomorrow.

A Police Scotland spokesperson told our sister title The Clydebank Post: "Around 12.40pm on Saturday, September 14, a man was observed walking off with a child in a shopping centre in Clydebank.
"The child was not injured and returned to parents within a very short space of time.
"The incident was reported that evening.
"A 47-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident. He is due before Dumbarton Sheriff Court tomorrow."
