HERO drivers rushed to the aid of an injured motorcyclist after a horror crash on the M80 near Glasgow.
Three lorry drivers and a car user formed a shield around the injured biker on the hard shoulder before junction six near Old Inns at around 8 am.
The woman appeared to be kneeling holding the stricken biker's neck as paramedics raced to the scene.

The wreck of a white and lime green motorbike was lying near the side of the road. It is not known how the crash happened.
Traffic travelling to Glasgow was queuing almost four miles.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman confirmed officers attended the incident at 7.45 am and officers are at the scene.
The force said they were unaware of any other vehicles having been involved in the crash.
The Scottish Ambulance Service has also been contacted for comment.
