POLICE are investigating after thugs threw fireworks in a Glasgow park - and one was aimed at a nine-year-old boy.
The force confirmed that they received a report of the incident in Knightswood Park at around 7.45 pm last night.
It is understood the youngster who was targeted was not injured.

His mother, who we are not naming, took to social media to make residents aware of the attack.
She said: "My nine-year-old son was playing with his pal in Knighstwood Park.
"He got attacked with fireworks and hid in a bush terrified.
"Police have been called and there is around 30 youngsters throwing fireworks and stones at cars.
"Absolutely shocking."
Police Scotland said they were not aware of a large group in the park but the force said they are investigating the incident.
