Emergency services raced to the River Clyde in Glasgow this evening amid reports of a body in the water.
Police, fire crews and ambulance teams attended the scene near to the Tradeston/Squiggly Bridge, just along from the King George V Bridge, shortly after 7pm.
Upon arrival, officers confirmed the body of a person was in the water and successfully made a recovery.

No details of the individual involved have been released.
A spokesperson for the force confirmed that they remain on the scene.
It's thought the person will be receiving treatment on location before being transferred to hospital.
