GLASGOW’S courts are giving the public a look behind the scenes this weekend as part of the 2019 Doors Open Day event.
The High Court, Saltmarket, is inviting members of the public to come to along tomorrow between 10am and 4pm when a wide range of activities will be available.
As well as a tour of the building and the courts, there will be visits to the cells and a custody van and a children’s quiz.
All courts have wheelchair access but the cells tour is unfortunately not available to those in wheelchairs.

Glasgow Sheriff and JP Court is also inviting visitors along between 10am and 4pm on Saturday and will be arranging adults and children’s tours of the building and cells and visits to a custody van.
There will be a quiz and prizes for children and stalls with displays on the work of other justice organisations.
Events are being staged across Scotland for Doors Open Days during the month of September.
The courts taking part are: Aberdeen, Ayr, Dumfries, Dundee, Edinburgh, Forfar, Glasgow, Greenock, Hamilton, Inverness, Paisley, Perth, Stirling, the Supreme Courts in Parliament House Edinburgh and the High Court in Glasgow.
