POLICE are investigating after a boat was deliberately set on fire in Balloch.
The force are appealing for witnesses to come forward who may have seen the fire on a boat moored at River Leven Moorings, Pier Road, Balloch.
The incident happened around 12.30 am on Saturday.

Police Scotland said local officers on patrol noticed the fire on a 33ft cruiser. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service attended and the fire was extinguished but the boat subsequently sank.
Detective Inspector Andy Doherty, CID at Police Scotland, said: “We believe this fire was started deliberately and are appealing for anyone who may have information or who may have seen anyone hanging around the River Leven Moorings either late on Friday evening or very early Saturday morning, to come forward."
Information can be provided to Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident 0132 on 21 September 2019, or reported anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
