CORONATION Street star Kym Marsh and ex-Eastenders actor Shaun Williamson will both star in Elf - A Christmas Spectacular when it comes to Glasgow’s Hydro this year.
The Hollywood blockbuster movie has been supersized into a live arena show to run at the city venue from December 14 to 15.
Singer Kym Marsh will star as Buddy the Elf’s girlfriend, Jovie, alongside Shaun Williamson as his dad Walter Hobbs. Tam Ryan will take on the lead role as Buddy.
Kym, who will share the stage with her daughter Polly, 8, said: “I am delighted to be getting back on stage and joining the cast of Elf this December.
“Elf is an iconic Christmas film and having seen the musical myself last year I am very excited to be part of this fun and heart-warming family show.”
