A MAN is due to appear in court after a serious assault in Maryhill.
Police confirmed that they have arrested and charged a 30-year-old in connection with the incident on August 8.
We previously reported that the victim, 31, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital after he was allegedly attacked with weapons.
It happened on Maryhill Road near to Glencloy Street.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "A 30-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the serious assault of a 31-year-old man in Glasgow.
"The incident happened around 8 pm on Thursday, August 8 on Maryhill Road, near to Glencloy Street.
"The 30-year-old is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today."
