A BLIND man is said to be fighting for his life after reportedly being pulled onto the tracks of a Glasgow Subway station.

Earlier today the city's underground system went into lockdown after a man was pulled onto a platform covered in blood at Bridge Street station.

Emergency services rushed to the scene, with ambulance services confirming that a man was taken to hospital.

Those on the site said the man seemed to be 'missing half an ear', while others said his guide dog had pulled him onto the tracks.
