Police investigating the murder of a man stabbed to death in front of his children have revisited the scene exactly one week on from the attack to speak to passers-by.
Christopher Nicol, 27, died after he was stabbed at a flat in Maple Road, Greenock, Inverclyde, at around 9.05pm on Thursday September 26.
His two young children, aged five and six, witnessed the attack on their father.

Police believe robbery was the motive for the attack and that Mr Nicol was targeted because the killer thought there was a large sum of money in the flat, which was not the case.
Officers hoped to jog people’s memories, and said despite the poor weather conditions, officers stopped seven vehicles and spoke to six passers-by.
