Masterchef winner Gary Maclean celebrated World Porridge Day by throwing a Porridge Party in support of Mary’s Meals.
The National Chef of Scotland and father-of-five put his culinary skills to good use by cooking up a huge pot of porridge and serving it to cookery students at City of Glasgow College.
Gary, who is the senior chef lecturer at the college, said: “I’m delighted to be part of Mary’s Meals’ World Porridge Day campaign.”
The charity hopes people across Glasgow will follow Gary’s lead by organising Porridge Parties for friends, family and colleagues throughout October.
