Police are in attendence at an "ongoing incident" at the Silverburn shopping centre car park.
Emergency services were called to the scene near to the Tesco petrol station at around 10pm last night.
A number of police vehicles and force helicopter were dispatched to the scene.
The nature of the incident is not yet known, however police confirmed to the Evening Times that a car was stopped as part of their response.

A Police Scotland tweet added: “Roads are closed in and around Silverburn Shopping Centre, Pollok, Glw, after a car was stopped as part of a police operation in the area.
“Officers remain at the scene. No danger to the public. Updates will be provided when available.”
It is not yet known if anyone has been arrested or if there have been any injuries.
The force helicopter was later stood down however officers remain at the scene.
Silverburn have been approached for comment.
