A pedestrian has been struck by a car in Glasgow's south side.
Emergency services were called to Aikenhead Road at around 5pm this evening amid reports of a collision.
Police have since closed off the road while medics deal with the incident.
Glasgow City Council put out a traffic alert warning people to avoid the area.

A statement reads: "Due to a road traffic collision, Aikenhead Road is subject to police closure until further notice between Calder Street and Cathcart Road.
"Road users are advised to avoid this area if possible."
A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed to the Evening Times that they are in attendance.
They said: "Officers were called at around 5pm following reports of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle on Aikenhead Road in Glasgow.
"Emergency services are on the scene.
"The road remains closed".
There are no further details on the pedestrian's injuries at this stage.
