EMERGENCY services have responded to a road traffic accident involving a lorry and a car close to Glasgow Airport.
Several fire engines, ambulance, and police crews are at the scene at junction 28 following the collision which happened just after noon.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that they have at least three appliances at the scene.
They added that firefighters are working alongside emergency service partners.
Injuries at this stage are not known.
Traffic Scotland has been issuing warnings to drivers travelling on the road with lane closures in place.
UPDATE: Traffic Scotland confirmed shortly after 2pm that the incident has been cleared and traffic is flowing as normal.
