SECOND fire breaks out in Pollokshields
FIVE fire crews are tackling a blaze in Pollokshields - just one week since a tenement building was destroyed in a fire.
A ground floor flat is currently on fire on Melville Street.
Emergency services were called to the scene shortly after 7pm.
A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed the incident.
She said: "We are in attendance at Melville Street.
"We have five appliances at the scene."
Last Monday, in the early hours, a building collapsed on Albert Drive in Pollokshields, forcing residents to flee.
More than 40 properties were evacuated.
