Man due in court after woman is allegedly attacked and robbed in Springburn
A MAN is due in court after a woman was allegedly attacked and robbed in Springburn.
The 46-year-old victim received a slash on her leg and her handbag was stolen during the incident on Springburn Road on Saturday morning.
The woman was treated within Glasgow Royal Infirmary for her leg injury before being released.
Police said a 28-year-old man will appear in court today.
A spokesman for the force said: "A 28-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
"He is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today, Thursday, 28 November 2019.
"A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
