AN INMATE has died in Glasgow's Barlinnie prison in the city's East End.
The Scottish Prison Service said yesterday Patrick Flynn, 49, had died.
He was convicted at the High Court in Edinburgh on December 6, last year.
Meanwhile, another prisoner at Bishopbriggs based Low Moss prison has died.
Gary Roe, 50, died while serving his sentence. He was convicted at Glasgow High Court on October 9, last year.
He was jailed for more than six years for stabbing his son Declan, 20, in the stomach in a row over a damaged book in Greenock.
A Scottish Prison Service spokesman said: "Police Scotland have been advised and the matter reported to the Procurator Fiscal. A Fatal Accident Inquiry will be held in due course."
