ROCKERS Deep Purple will play the Hydro next year.
The English rock band will play the venue on October 5 to coincide with the release of a brand new studio album in 2020.
The band's Ian Gillan said: “It is fantastic to be playing some home shows again…the band is cranking and full of it, plus there will be a couple or three new songs, dunno how we’re going to squeeze it all in, but we always manage somehow. Can’t wait to blow your socks off.”
The group will be joined by Blue Oyster Cult who will play the support slot.
Deep Purple are best known for Smoke on The Water, Highway Star, and Perfect Strangers.
Tickets priced £56.20 to £62.45 go on sale on December 6 at 10 am.
