Two children were hit by a van on Victoria Road in Glasgow's Govanhill area.
Emergency services were rushed to the Glasgow road following a crash around 3.15pm.
The children were taken to a hospital where they were treated for minor injuries.
Drivers were advised to avoid the Govanhill area following the incident as a police diversion was in place.
Victoria Road was shut to all traffic at the junction with Allison Street.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Emergency services were called to serve a road traffic crash at Victoria Road in Glasgow at 3.15pm where a small van struck two children.
"Emergency services attended and the children were taken to hospital where they were treated for minor injuries."
A Glasgow City Council statement read: "Due to a Road Traffic Incident, Victoria Road is closed at its junction with Allison Street.
"Allison Street remains accessible to Southbound traffic.
"Road users should avoid this area and delays should be expected."
