MUSIC legend Celine Dion has admitted she has butterflies about her new tour Courage which comes to the Hydro next year.

The Canadian songstress, 51, will play the city venue on September 11 and 12 for a second time.

Celine best known for hits Think Twice and My Heart Will Go On previously wowed fans at the Hydro in 2017 - and now the new show will feature songs from latest release Courage.

"I have butterflies just talking about it because a new record—a new show—is quite big," she said.

She added: "There’s a lot of work behind that, a lot of people involved, a lot of passion, a lot of dedication.

"A lot of hours were put behind every detail because what we want is for as many people as possible—even though we all know that we can’t please everyone—but between you and me, what I want, is to please everyone. Is it possible? Well, I don’t know. But I got an album, and I got a new tour, it’s called Courage, and I hope you’re going to love it as much as I do.”

The superstar, who began her career in the eighties, will tour the world with the new show visiting Canada and the US before concerts in Europe and the Middle East next year. It is her biggest tour in almost a decade.

She said: "I’m very very excited about this tour.

"I’m not scared, I’m anticipating it in a way of excitement because I love touring.

"I love to record because you can do many takes if you’re not happy. But what I like about touring as well, is the contact with the audience."

She added: "I want to impress them as much as I can. I want to have fun. I want them to love the show. I want them to love the album and the songs. And of course, I’ll sing the songs that, hopefully, they want to hear that I’ve recorded before.

"Unfortunately, I won’t be able to sing all of them, because of the longevity of my career, but I hope I can please as many people as possible. So, yes I do have butterflies, but because I’m very very nervous, but anticipating to go on stage. It’s going to be so fun.

"And the stage is going to be amazing.”
