A MAN has appeared in court in connection with the murder of a woman in Glasgow 35 years ago.
Mary McLaughlin, 58, of Crathie Court on Laurel Street in Partick, was last seen alive on September 26, 1984, when she left a bar in the Hyndland area after a night out.
Mrs McLaughlin's body was found six days later in her home. She was a mum of six girls and five boys.

Graham McGill, 58, of Glasgow, appeared in the dock at Glasgow Sheriff Court today charged with murder.
He made no plea and was committed for further examination. He was remanded in custody.
McGill is expected to make a further appearance within the next eight days.
