A MAN has died of a suspected heart attack after taking unwell while driving on the M74 in Glasgow's South Side.
Police were called to the scene of the Polmadie sliproad near junction 1A yesterday.
The force said that the 62-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital but he sadly died.

A police spokesman said: "We were called to a medical matter at 3.20 pm on Wednesday, December 11.
"A 62-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
"Sadly the man has died due to a medical issue.
"He was the driver and pulled over having taken unwell.
"A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
