IRISH rockers The Boomtown Rats will play a show in Glasgow next year.
The Dublin band, fronted by Bob Geldolf, will be performing in the Old Fruitmarket on Saturday, April 4.
The group toured with the Ramones and Talking Heads before becoming one of the biggest bands of the late 1970s and 1980s.

They topped the charts in 32 countries with the song I Don't Like Mondays.
Tickets for the show go on sale on Friday, December 13 at 11 am.
