A second man is to appear in court charged in connection with the death of a man in Airdrie.
Police were called to a disturbance within a house on Frew Street at around 12.30am on Monday, August 19.
Colin MacDonald was found seriously injured a short time later on Rankin Crescent in Greengairs.
He was battered and left for dead four miles from his Airdrie home, and was taken to Monklands Hospital where he died the following day.

Police have now confirmed they have arrested and charged a second man in connection with the death.
The 20-year-old is due to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court next week.
A 29-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the death in October 2019.
Inquiries remain ongoing.
