NEW images show how ambitious plans for Candleriggs Square could transform part of the Merchant City.
An updated planning application has been submitted by Candleriggs Developments 2 Ltd, which could see a new hotel, build to rent apartments, offices, bars, restaurants and shops.
The 500-bed hotel would be operated by The Student Hotel, an innovative service which also offers space for businesses.
